Gabi Mills
Editorial Director
GABI thrives on transformations - and creating page turners for brands. She has many years of journalistic experience, writing a wide variety of features for publications in both the United Kingdom and Australia - including an award-winning story about playing online poker. She has edited a variety of magazines and industry newspapers, and launched several titles from scratch. She has redesigned and relaunched moribund titles and taken them to award nights as a result. She launched Galley Press in 2020 while twiddling her thumbs as the pandemic reeked havoc in the creative industries. It seemed a smart move to build on the success and reputation of her and co-conspirator Cally Browning’s magazine work with Premium Publishers, a custom publishing house Gabi launched in 2013. Always a firm believer in the power of print and an advocate of the ability of magazines to help transform the fortunes of businesses and destinations, you’ll most likely find Gabi planning her next project over a wine, somewhere in Subiaco, with Cally and the team.
Cally Browning
Creative Director
CALLY is a conjurer - she can create magical magazine spreads, often while also designing clients’ advertisements, and facing a deadline which stretches beyond midnight. An avid consumer of the latest design trends, you’ll often find her researching new creative directions so the publications she creates with Gabi don’t follow the pack - they anticipate where the pack’s going next. A true creative, the intuitive relationship between designer and editor is a precious thing and goes in no small way to explain how the pair have produced so many publications over the years without heading to the divorce courts, metaphorically speaking. In her spare time, you’ll find Cally on the open seas - she’s an avid sailor and marine rescue volunteer. Either that or she’ll be walking her beloved rescue dog, Blade, who will no doubt be chasing something (or someone) he shouldn’t.

A lifelong lover of words, Lisa adores books so much she built a house with the design developed around her very own library. And yes, there is a ladder on wheels.
